I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (New York, NY) in Jan 2025
Interview
The first interview was a phone call and pretty easy, but the second call my interviewer never seemed overly excited and nitpicked all my answers— where I had friends also applying for this role in this round of her interviews and their video calls were much smoother, nicer, and on a technical scale… easier.

Question 1
What kind of expert positions would be the best to apply for a x company looking for x knowledge?
Phone screening was good asked basic questions about strengths, weaknesses, situation, etc. The questions were fairly straightforward and the usual questions asked during a phone interview. Overall a very good experience.
Initial interview screen, basic questions about resume and why you want to go into the field and this type of job, how resume and past experience transfers. Not very hard but not very exciting.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at AlphaSights (New York, NY)
Interview
Long, repetitive and a complete waste of my time. They drag you along for legit like 6 weeks, make you do all these different things, the people that I met were majority nice, expect the final interview with a lady that was a POS
