Recruiter reached out and I had a call with him. He was honest about the possibility of bonus payout. I was looking for next steps in the process, but as it was around the holidays, understandably things were slow. Once we touched based again, I was told the interviews would be about a month out with three different senior leaders. Overall the process seemed very disorganized and there didn't seem to be urgency to fill the need. I also didn't see any current legal counsel on staff, and when queried on this, the recruiter said [insert Chief XYZ leader] was the one negotiating the contracts for the company. This doesn't seem like the behavior of a mature, sophisticated company. I declined to move further because of that, iffy compensation, and overall lack of interest in moving me forward on a timely schedule.

Alviere completely wasted my time as a job applicant. I applied for the Senior Product Marketing Manager position at the beginning of November 2023. After six interviews and a presentation, they scheduled another zoom meeting with me to share that they decided to go in a different direction with the role. They did not hire another candidate — rather, they felt that they needed to update the job description and responsibilities. This type of decision should have been made prior to engaging with candidates. I spent 2.5 months interviewing for this role. As someone who is currently employed full time, I spent many nights preparing for these interviews and working on my presentation. In retrospect, I wonder if they ever had an opening for this role. There are so many fake job postings from companies on Indeed, and this may have been one of them. To Alviere, please respect your applicants’ time as we respect yours.
