The Amazon interview process typically begins with an online application, followed by a recruiter screening call. If selected, candidates undergo one or two phone interviews focusing on technical skills and behavioral questions aligned with Amazon’s Leadership Principles. Successful candidates are then invited to an on-site or virtual “Loop” interview, consisting of four to six interviews with different team members. These cover problem-solving, technical knowledge (e.g., coding or system design for tech roles), and culture fit. A “Bar Raiser” ensures high hiring standards. Afterward, the team makes a hiring decision. The entire process may take a few weeks to complete.
