I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (New York, NY) in Sep 2016
Interview
The overall process was about 8 weeks from the day that I posted for the role. Everyone is really nice. Phone screen was a 30 min call about yourself and your professional experience. They really just go over your resume and ask you specifics about previous roles.
About 3 days later I was contacted about first round of interviews. It was a phone interview with a folk from Seattle who was extremely nice and professional. Make sure you're organized and be prepared to answer some behavioral questions.
After that comes a full day of interviews if you meet expectations in the phone interview. My advice is to NOT be too nervous and just prepare yourself. Have questions ready and understand, in depth, Amazon's Leadership Principles. Have a nice early morning, have breakfast, practice on some situational questions, and BE YOURSELF. If it's for you, you'll get an offer.
it goes according to what's widely shared in Youtube / Reddit. just make sure you spend enough time to prepare & practice your stories in STAR. very stressful & exhausing to have 4 rounds of loop interviews in 1 day.

Question 1
tell me about a time you review a process & improve it.
Extremely time consuming multi step interview process that consist of a screener round of questions, to hr, to hiring manager to loop interview. You’ll probably spend an honest amount of time prepping for this as if you were studying for an exam. I personally thought it was a rewarding and refreshing process.
Interview process: cv evaluation > digital assessment > personal interview > interview panel
I reached the personal interview phase, which consisted of a 50 minute assessment based on behavioral questions.
