I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2016
Interview
The process was very professional and well handled. The recruiters did an excellent job, and the interviewers were very well selected for the role I was interviewing for. I took a bit of time to go through all of the steps - phone screens, and scheduling, but once that was done the process was one of the best I have been through.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very positive experience. The down side was there were 6 rounds of interviews in total but they were scheduled close together. Communication was excellent and a huge amount of helpful resources provided to you to help you prepare.
Phone interview. Asked 4 typical question. The Amazon phone interview was structured and focused on behavioral questions using the STAR method. The interviewer was professional, asking about leadership principles, past challenges, and decision-making. It felt fast-paced yet conversational. I shared clear examples from my experience, highlighted results, and ended confident I demonstrated impact and fit.
