I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
Applied through a referral and the interview was set up within a week. The first phone screen was straightforward and went as expected. The second phone screen was haphazard - it appears that the recruiter changed roles and the person that showed up was different and seemed to be surprised that they were recruiting for the role I was being interviewed for!

Initial discussion with a recruiter, a follow on interview prep discussion with a different recruiter, and then a first round technical interview. I didn't advance beyond this first round so I don't know what would have happened next.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Standard Amazon Loop. 5 Interviews with different individuals from related teams and a Bar Raiser. Interviews were focused on situations the interviewee had been in previously. They wanted data and specifics. Having worked for Amazon in the past and interviewed for them, they have increased the barrier to entry and have lowered pay. I would expect this to have negative outcomes in the near future.

Not all the questions mapped across obviously to the leadership principles, as they should have. For example, tell me about a time you ran a project which failed?
