I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Amazon (Coppell, TX) in Oct 2017
Interview
Arrived at the fulfillment center (prepare to arrive early in case you can’t find main entrance) and waited to do first interview -this was the “why amazon” piece. Then walked into another office to answer technical questions (Windows and Linux)
Recruiter screening, behavioral and technical. The focus is mostly on the behavior and technical interview is really simple. Prepare good stories which align with Amazon leadership principles. And make sure to follow STAR method while giving answers
The interview process was straightforward. They began by asking me a series of targeted questions designed to assess my technical skills, such as my proficiency in programming languages and my familiarity with various software development methodologies. They also inquired about my previous work experiences, allowing me to elaborate on specific projects I had worked on, the challenges I faced, and the solutions I implemented. Overall, the conversation flowed naturally, giving me the opportunity to showcase my expertise and how it aligns with their needs.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Hamburg)
