Had a very long assessment which took up to an hour. It is great that a job at amazon requires a personality assessment to be done however, at such an early stage of the process it could be seen as a hassle. This process could be moved to the second level, after an initial shortlisting has been done.

Aptitude Assessment Questions and Hypothetical Scenarios
After the online personality test (assessment), the process was rather easy consisting of one behavioral interview where the interviewer asked me questions about my experience and how I connect them to Amazons leadership principles. In the technical part, I was given a brief business case and asked to solve and present, was rather easy and time was enough. I was hired afterwards.
the first step was an OA. the second step were two online meetings including livecoding and technical questions. the questions were morr about my projects, not necessery technical questions about oop etc.

Interview
I had two interviews, both went well. Had a couple of behavioral questions and one algo problem to solve in each interview. Also in the second one a couple of questions about the usage of GenAI.
