I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (London, England) in May 2021
Interview
Behavioral questions. All situational. First phone screen, then hiring manager interview, then a loop with 5 people interviewing (1 hr each) in one day. The most difficult part was the last day which was quite tiring.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you dived deep into data to make a decision.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (London, England) in May 2016
Interview
Two phone screens - one with hiring manager and one with someone on the team. Led to in-house interview day (about 5 back to back 45m interviews), including the person from my phone screen again. Questions were all behavioural in nature. As long as you have lots of experiences to draw from and the detail of the things to did in you mind it's not difficult. Whole process was extremely unplesant bordering on hostile. No time to ask questions, got no insight into team culture or what future colleagues might be like - actually disliked one interviewer so much and his aggressive style that I turned the job down in the end. Rudeness is never acceptable. It was clear that if that is how they interview, it was going to be an unpleasant place to work. No one I interviewed with seemed to really care about me at all beyond ticking a box. Just a really soulless experience. I've worked at plenty of large prestigious companies and never felt as disgusted walking away from an interview day.

Question 1
Can you give me a time when you had to make a decision quickly with limited data?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Dec 2012
Interview
Two phone interviews. I didn't get very far in this process as I was eliminated after the second phone interview. I received an email inviting me to have a phone interview, had the first one, had the second one with a hiring manager and didn't succeed in getting any further in the process. As in any process, the more that you can practice the better you will do in interviewing.
