I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
the first round was a phone interview. Go through the resume and asked in details the experience in the resume, and asked me to briefly introduce the use of snort. After all the technical questions, he asked some behavior questions such as tell me a time that you handle pressure. great interview experience
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Dublin, Dublin) in Nov 2022
Interview
The interviewers will introduce themselves, ask 4 or 5 situational example questions (STAR method) followed by the technical questions and some minutes for you to ask questions you might have. First round was one interviewer only, with one shadow (anonymous spectator). Having been approved, scheduled 5 interviews, 45 minutes each, within the script above. Only the first one (recruiting manager) talked about how was the team day-to-day operation.

Question 1
Explain what is the ARP protocol and how it works.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2022
Interview
Recruiter Call, Technical Call, Recruiter call again before the 1st technical round to go over LPs and expectations. Met him again and the next day with one of the engineers in same level over chime app. The engineer asked about 10 questions. Overall was okay but he didn't seem satisfied with my answers to some follow up questions. There was a very disturbing and distractive noise as well in his background (I'm not sure if a environemnt/technical setup prep email is sent to the interviewer) where I had to ask him to repeat question several times (I also felt miscommunication due to the lack of his language skills.). He had to change his location 2 times. I don't tink the atmosphere was professional as I lost myself when trying to focus. I don't see that I was being listened well where he interrupted while I was directing my conversation to his point with STAR methodology. He asked Qs for 54 min and 6 min left for my Qs. It's disrespecting the candidate's time and his priorities. I asked him a questing where he wasn't able to answer but just escaping by saying it's company confidential.
