I applied through college or university. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Amazon (College Station, TX) in Oct 2015
Interview
1. First round: two 30 minute behavioral interviews via Jabber video software
2. Second round: two 45 minute behavioral interviews via Jabber video software
Both rounds were easy. I wasn't asked any difficult questions. In both interviews, I was asked typical behavioral interview questions. The second interview was from an HR guy that made absolutely sure I understood the heavy workload of the position.
Interviews are based on Amazon Leadership principles. Interview process went very smoothly with mostly focusing on my previous experience. They expect the answers in STAR format. Also, some other behavioral questions are also asked. Since I joined as an intern there were only two rounds of interviews.
