I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2025
Interview
It started with an OA on SQL with MCQs and 2 SQL coding questions. Then, 75mins of Technical Phone Screening focusing completely on SQL coding, few basic questions on visualization and 1 behavioral question. Next was virtual onsite where 5 rounds were there. Themes of the rounds were clearly explained by recruiter and LPs were given for each round by recruiter. So don't miss the recruiter prep call and get as much as details you need from it. 5hours of intensive interview with Manager round, Analytical problem solving round, SQL coding round, 1 round with a PM and bar raiser round. Overall very good experience. If given a chance, choose 2 days as 1 day can be pretty exhaustive. I got 2 days schedule so was able to prep for behavioral questions with remaining on my list for the 2nd day.
