      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at American Airlines (Phoenix, AZ) in Aug 2021

      Interview

I applied online through the American Airlines careers website and got an email about a week later saying that my application had been pushed forward and was in the running to hopefully get an interview. About a week after that I was sent an email to schedule an interview time with the company and it would take place at a hotel and would be a big group of people. I showed up to the interview and they were interviewing people for two different positions. They broke us up into groups of 3 or 4 and 2 panel interviewers. Each of us had a total of 5 questions asked. They asked if I spoke any other languages since they were also looking for Spanish speakers and half of my interview was in spanish since I do speak the language. After the interview we were taken to another room to do a written test where you were given a scenario and told to reply to the customer in an email format. Since I was also spanish speaking I got a spanish scenerio. After that we were told to wait while they deliberated and if you were called up you got an offer and were told your starting wage, and they then took us into a room to do our onboarding and drug testing same day.
