I applied through college or university. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Dec 2024
Interview
I had one interview on campus. Hour long with two people and then had to wait 6 weeks to hear back. Made it to the second round which I was flown out to Dallas for another 1 hour 2 on 1 interview
The process very technical question driven roughly around 10 questions on vendor management and RFP process. Additionally they how do you manage hour time and why American Airlines. The interview lasted only 30 minutes
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2025
Interview
The recruiting process felt extremely slow and disorganized. My interview with the hiring manager was particularly disappointing, unprofessional, dismissive, and based on the assumption that every company operates under the same procurement model as American Airlines. There was absolutely no sense of respect from the interviewer; instead, I felt like I was being treated as a tool from the very beginning. Throughout the conversation, it genuinely felt as though the interviewer was looking down on me, leaving me confused about why I had even been invited. It was one of the very few times, second only to an experience I once had with TikTok, where I actually wanted to walk out in the middle of an interview. I have never experienced anything like it, and I absolutely hated the entire process.
