Interview
I applied online after talking to a recruiter at my university career fair. Heard back a week later to schedule an hour-long virtual interview with two current employees (who didn't work at the branch I was applying to). Was notified about a position 8 days after that. The interviewers were very friendly and it was a very comfortable experience. They really just wanted to know my thought process/approach to solving problems.

Question 1
Lots of hypothetical on-the-job questions (ex: AmEx received an unusually large number of card cancellations and your job is to determine why this happened. How do you go about this?) Also had follow-up questions on how you'd deal with coworkers/managers in each situation
One very simple calculation question that required a calculator and scratch paper (there was no right answer, they just wanted to see my thought process)

Interview
The experience was really good, I applied via American Express Discovery Program and did it virtually since they didn’t cover the expenses to the in-person trip to New York but the virtual program was great too, it introduced us to different teams at Amex and interviewing tips. Third day is the final round for Summer 2024 IE Internship in Global Services Group. Interviews were chill, typical power day, two interviews both behavioral and consulting case type interviews.

As it is often said, 'everyone makes mistakes.' Even so, it can be hard to admit our mistakes and fix what we did wrong. Please describe a time when you made an embarrassing or serious mistake at school or work, and how you navigated that situation. What did you learn?
When faced with problems or opportunities, we sometimes must choose between playing it safe by sticking with well-accepted strategies or taking a chance on a new solution or response. Please tell me about an occasion when you decided to take a risk on a new solution.
People who are working together need to know and understand their roles and assignments in order to perform effectively and successfully accomplish goals. Please give me an example of a time when you helped others understand their roles on a project or in a group at school or work.
Imagine American Express wants to establish new call centers for customer care and inquiries for about 10,000 customer. How many employees does the Call Center have? Use Math and statistics to back your answer.
