Decent process, team, and several rounds of meeting great folks. HR was engaged and as transparent as possible. Here is the largest concern, the role was advertised "REMOTE: Job Title". Once the process ensued for over a month w/ pending offer, senior leadership/CEO determined that remote roles were no longer allowed moving forward, no exceptions. I was advised the interview team fought for an exception; the only option given for this offer was to go from REMOTE as it was advertised to moving to the NY or MO office. Additionally, thru speaking to current employees there is a morale issue as the organization changed gears requiring employees back to office, no exceptions/accommodations. It's a shame as the culture was amazing of this company before and the hard work by all the folks in the interview process; the reason for the negative review is to bring attention to this matter for senior leadership/ CEO. 1 size does not fit all, listen to your employees or you will lose your talent. In this day and age, if they were able to successfully do their jobs remote before, there is no reason to forcefully place staff into office.
