I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Ansys (San Jose, CA) in Jun 2016
Interview
I was interviewed at San Jose , CA for the role . The process took more than 5 weeks.
There was an HR round , followed by 2 technical rounds out of which one was with the hiring manager. Then I was asked to come onsite for the final round. The onsite round was technical more and less of behavioral. One by one I was interviewed by 4 of all the top officials at the company. The interview went pretty well. The Hiring manager was impressed by my interview. I was asked to wait for the decision. It had been three weeks after the round but they did not reply. I had emailed the hiring manager but no luck, Finally after three weeks when I emailed the HR, she sent a standard rejection mail. The process was decent but the way they did not tell the decision was frustrating. Came to know that they had internally hired somebody else for the same position. The process has to be pretty much transparent.
