AppDirect interview questions

1️⃣ DSA Round (Easy–Medium) Focus on core problem-solving and coding ability. Expect 1–2 coding questions (arrays, strings, hashing, or basic recursion/DP). Language: Java (preferred). Tip: Explain your thought process clearly and mention time–space complexity. 2️⃣ Technical Round (Medium) Deep dive into backend fundamentals (Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, DB design, system design basics). May include discussion on your past projects and design decisions. Be ready to talk about concurrency, microservices, and design patterns. 3️⃣ Managerial Round (Behavioural & Situational) Focus on teamwork, ownership, conflict resolution, and handling ambiguity. Example prompts: “Tell me about a time you disagreed with your lead.” “How do you prioritize tasks when deadlines clash?” “Describe a situation where you handled production issues under pressure.” 4️⃣ (Optional) Discussion with India Head High-level cultural/fit discussion. Usually conversational — covers vision alignment, motivation, and long-term goals.
