I interviewed at Arise

Interview

Remote interview in front of many people. there were some follow ups but all in all not painful. I was fairly prepared with documentation and success stories. I also had alot of detail about my last position and understanding of what was needed in that role. The interview was not that long and most people only got one question to ask. If you are prepared and understand the needs of the company you will do very well on the interview.

Interview

This interview was for an internal, salaried role with Arise. The marketing team is small but growing....and based on my experience, they have some work to do when it comes to their recruitment process and professionalism. I completed three interviews and 1 trial project. Throughout the process, I received different and conflicting messages from different team members. After completing all stages of the interview process, I didn't get an offer....hey, it happens. But what I found to be most inconsiderate and unprofessional was that they couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge my follow-up thank you email(s) requesting feedback. When I reached out a final time expressing my disappointment, one team member got back to me saying I was still under consideration for the role, another replied that sorry there was no feedback and no I was not under consideration. If candidates are treated to such poor communication and disregard, I wonder what employees are in for once they join the team? Note, that although this is a technology-based work from home company, it seems to me they still have a fairly old school corporate culture.

Very straight forward for anyone from a customer service background. Basic questions to test your knowledge and understanding of customer service principles. Also done in the comfort of your own home as a webchat so a lot less pressure than a regular interview

The interview is a large type of group info thing. They tell everyone that you can only make money if you work. I am a hard worker so that wasn't a problem. Bring you check book though. You have fees to get started.
