We typically progress candidates in small groups once an appropriate number of suitable applications has been submitted – this allows us to manage a large number of vacancies and hire at speed. It also means a manager will sometimes find an ideal candidate while others are still at an earlier stage of the process.
You should have been informed that the role had been filled before your interview with our Talent Acquisition team as it is important to us to be transparent with candidates. I’m sorry that didn’t happen.
Before anyone applies for a role through our Careers site, they are asked to accept a Data Protection notice which states that personal information will be collected for recruitment purposes and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This means applicants do not have to resubmit all their personal information for every role they apply to and enables us to match the capabilities of past applicants to new roles as they appear.
