I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Arm in Mar 2023
Interview
I would like to focus my review on the lack of communication & poor feedback I got from my interviewer after failing the interview. Asking both HR & the manager who interviewed for constructive feedback me I got poor answers & actually was ignored. If you want candidates to keep looking jobs at your company, you should first give real useful feedbacks. Second you should reply kindly & with courteous when a candidate asks for more information other than your generic denial response. The absolute disrespect Arm's HR & interviewer has shown in this process was even more surprising & vivid since the interview, from my perspective, went well & communication was fluent during the interview itself. Just a disgraceful behavior.
Moderate difficulty around 4 6 round each 1hr, over 4 weeks and response was also good, HR will communicate with you the feedback of each round and schedule next round
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Arm (Cambridge, England) in Nov 2019
Interview
I applied through the ARM careers website, I received an invitation to a phone interview about two weeks later. The interview content was broad. Responsibilities of the position were discussed along with questions covering HDL, C, ARM assembly, OOP and computer architecture fundamentals. The interview was fun and informative, but the quality of the call was quite deficient due to the long-distance connection, a skype call would have been better in my opinion. Overall good experience.
