They conducted an interview with me over video conference and that went well so they called me back later that day and told me to come into the office (this is during COVID btw). So they made me come in, and when talking to me over the phone they made it seem as though I basically had the offer (told me to bring in my id and Social Security card). So I went in, and they gave me a "test" on the position to see if I could do the tasks. They basically had me organize the documents in the way that I would if I was doing the job. I messed up a little bit organizing the documents, but I thought it wasn't a big deal, because it would've been something I would have learned/remembered had I got the job. After the test in person was done, they told me they would call me by the end of the week to let me know if I got the job or not. Of course they ghosted me, which is even more ridiculous in COVID times, completley wasted my time, and were very unprofessional. Either way I'm glad I didn't get a job here because the commute was too long and the pay rate was not nearly enough.
