I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AssemblyAI in Jul 2022
Interview
There were 3 interviews.
The first was the interview with the Support Manager. It was just an intro interview where you talk about your background and learn a bit about the position.
Next they will ask you to do a debugging exercise and build a simple app with the API.
The next two interviews involve meeting with other members of the team and chatting with manager. Overall it was really enjoyable and stress free experience! It moved super fast for me. The whole process took about a week.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at AssemblyAI (Sydney)
Interview
Overall there were 4 parts to the interview process. An introduction, take-home exercise, meeting with the team and a final Q&A with a lead.
I started off with screening call with the manager for my position. It consisted of introductions and briefing of my technical background in relation to the role.
It went really well and was moved to the next stage immediately which was a take-home exercise to be completed in 3 days. It was comprised of debugging and using the API which directly correlated to the responsibilities of working with a customer. All the information could be found in the company documentation.
The next two interviews seemed to be more focused on my questions and the potential fit. It was great to have a conversation with the team and clear up the questions I had during the interview process.
