I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Auth0 (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2020
Interview
Process took well over 2 Months from Application to Rejection. No communication whatsoever through the process. During the interview, the recruited agreed to arrange an interview with the hiring manager. The waiting process after that was 30 days, and during that time I received two automated rejection emails.
I followed up with the recruited 3 times and no response.
During the initial phone screen I was told that the next step was to speak to the Hiring Manager however I followed up twice over the next month and no response. I received two automated rejection emails during this time with no follow up.
I must have had a horrible read on the situation due to the fact that my conversations with the recruiter went amazingly well, and her commitment to speak to the HM was a great lead indicator that I was moving to the next step.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself and how your background makes you a good fit for the role.
The process took about a month and a half.
The initial interview was a zoom video interview. Interview went well and she told me that one of their recruiting coordinators would reach out to me to schedule an interview with the hiring manager. Cool. After this initial interview, I never heard back from her ever again. I reached out and followed up. Nothing. This kinda gave me a bad taste about the company, which was unfortunate because I really wanted to move forward with the process.
Then a week later the recruiting coordinator reached out saying they would like to move forward with the process and schedule a meeting with the hiring manager. I was hesitant but still said yes, so I met the hiring manager, and I felt like we really hit it off. She told me that the next step would be to meet with some of the team members. Perfect.
I met with some of the team members, and the interviews went well. Really had high hopes to move forward! Then the following week I received an automated response from a “no-reply email” saying they decided to move forward with another candidate. Again, zero communication from the recruiter since day one. I reached out to say thank you, still nothing.
You can tell from the other interviews here that there is a pattern of unprofessionalism, at least in their recruiting department. The replies from the company say they are making sure this doesn’t happen again, but here we are. I truly believe that the hiring process is very indicative of the company's overall values and this speaks volume.

Question 1
1. Why do you want to work at Auth0?
2. Behavioral questions
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Auth0 (Gloucester, England) in Oct 2019
Interview
Initially contacted by a third party recruiter on LinkedIn I thought I’d continue our initial conversation. Having never worked in identity before and coming from an already good job. I was initially skeptical about Auth0. The recruitment process however soon put that to bed.
I had an initial call with the third party recruiter. Then I dealt with a lovely Auth0 recruiter called Wendy. She put me in touch with the director of the TAM team. After which I met with 2 other members of the team to discuss the role and for them to gauge my fit. The last step was a technical exercise whereby you’re given a scenario and access to Auziros via slack to prepare a presentation for a mock customer. The process really gave you a feel for how a TAM might be expected to work and I enjoyed the process. Very thorough without being too much. Overall one of the best recruitment processes I have gone through. Excellent opportunity and a great company.
