Associate Claims Representative/Field Claims Representative Interview

      Jun 23, 2011
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Auto-Owners Insurance in May 2011

      Interview

I did two 1-1 interviews on two different days. The first interview was with a local Claims manager. It was surprisingly less formal then I thought. It felt more like a meet and greet. He asked about my education and experience, and asked 3-4 standard interview questions. (Angry customer, delivering bad news, and 2 more that I can’t remember). Then he asked if I had any questions. I was invited back for a second interview with the regional manager. It was a bit more formal then the first, but still very relaxed. He also asked about education, experience, and a few interview questions. (Investigated a problem?) Then he asked if I had any questions. The first interview went well, but the nerves got the best of me in the second, my guess was the added formality.
