I applied for the position first in July 2015. Once I applied, I was immediately interviewed by 3 different people within 2 weeks, the collision manager, the controller, the general manager. All three interviews were very positive, and I had assumed I had the job. After my last interview I was PROMISED that I would hear back, regardless of outcome. I had kept calling almost weekly to get an answer. In November I was asked to come back in, only this time it was basically to tell me that they had went with someone else as an estimator, however, they were looking for someone who can write estimates but also has customer service background, and whether or not I was interested still. At that point I had been unemployed for 5 months and needed a job. I was promised that I would further my training as an estimator. I told them yes I was interested. On November 30th, I received a phone call and asked if I wanted to start the following day (Dec 1). Of course, I accepted, that should have been my first clue that this wasn't going to be good.
