I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AutoZone (Lake Forest, CA)
Interview
Easy and very casual. Went over basic retail questions. Very little emphasis on actual auto parts questions and knowledge of cars. Overall interview was rather short. Interview took place behind the counter and other employees were able to listen in. Not very professional at all but then again it was applying for a retail sales position.
Asked to come in to location and did a basic interview. Manager conducted interview and started the hiring process right away. Then had to do training for about a week. Sat at the computer for days completing training exams.
