It was an hour long, many questions were asked concerning immigration and my current experience as a nurse. There was also questions concerning how I learnt about the company. If it was through a friend who has been with avant, they will receive a reward fee.

This process was incredibly weird. For a Jackson affiliated company, it felt almost improper and not a reflection of the Jackson companies I know. There was a clear lack of communication going on between the talent acquisition team and the hiring department. When it was my turn to ask the talent acquisition specialist my questions during my phone screening, she told me she couldn't even answer a basic question about the role and that would be a question for the hiring manager. I followed up with my recruiter for several scheduling things, but she would not get back to me and I would not hear from anyone for a day but then their coordinator would text me. When I told the coordinator I needed clarification from my recruiter, she seemed confused but got my answer within 10 minutes. I made it to the hiring manager round and the questions asked in the interview were incredibly repetitive. It was the same questions over and over again, just worded differently. It's challenging coming up with different scenarios for the same question that was phrased in a different way. During my interview, the hiring manager said that they wanted to move quickly but were still in first round interviews with everyone. He ended the interview with "We will be in touch with either a "thank you for your time but we are going in the other direction" or to schedule a second interview". This comment made me realize they were looking for a reason to solely tell me no because I am qualified for the position. I received an email the following morning that said they filled the position, which they clearly didn't because it's still posted and he said they were doing first round interviews. Anyways, my advice to the company is the questions for your interview process are incredibly repetitive and don't make it obvious you are looking for a reason to tell me no. For people interviewing, if you have the patience, it could be a good stepping stone position.

I was initially screened by a recruiter. I found the pay range for the role to be on the lower side ($52000-57000) and when I asked for more money they said it could be done because of my experience and educational level. I then wanted to apply to a senior role because of my salary and experience levels - recruiter said she would ask but I was discouraged from this ultimately. Went through 2 more rounds of video interviews, job posting said it was 90 days in office before a hybrid work schedule but in the interview they stated 120 days. It was overall sketchy and I don't think this company compensates well for expectations.
- What title would you ultimately see yourself wanting within Avant?

4 interviews. The whole process seemed a bit excessive and they clearly don’t care for peoples time. After 4 interviews, they want you to make an email marketing campaign, as well as multiple social posts for them. As someone with multiple years of experience working at larger, more established companies, I didn’t feel comfortable doing this and giving them ideas and creative assists free of charge. VERY questionable ethics here. Beware

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Avant Healthcare Professionals (Maitland, FL) in Aug 2022
After applying they reached out to me very quickly to set up a preliminary phone interview with a talent acquisition specialist. The interview went very well & she said I sounded like I'd be a great fit for the team & that she'd set up a second interview. I sent over thank you, some portfolio items & asked a couple follow up questions after the interview. No answer. Then I followed up again a week later to receive an auto reply that the interviewer was no longer with the company. I forwarded the email chain to the individual I was directed to. No answer again. Finally 3 weeks after the initial interview they sent me a generic email saying they had gone with another candidate. Felt very unorganized & like I was forgotten about since the interviewer left the company.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Avant Healthcare Professionals in Jun 2022
Required to complete 2 assessments prior to speaking with a recruiter (behavior assessment and cognitive assessment). Prelim. phone screen was very rushed/unauthentic. Recruiters should make the interviews more conversational, rather than just asking questions from a script; things get awkward fast.
