Met virtually with an internal recruiter from Utah. He was very friendly, knew the business well and qualified me without a fuss. Then had virtual meeting with the hiring manager, again was super friendly, had a great rapport. Really well balanced in terms of them asking questions and me getting to ask questions. There would have about another 3 steps afterwards though. A few days later I got an automated response saying they weren't proceeding, I asked for feedback and I got ghosted. It seems my time and prep input into the interview means very little to them. It's a dichotomy as they claim to champion decency and recognition of people. I feel like I dodged a bullet.
