      Stewardship Analyst Interview

      Feb 27, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      San Jose, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BD (San Jose, CA) in Feb 2019

      Interview

Whole process was lengthy and confusing. During the span of two months, both the hiring manager and recruiter changed twice. No one could explain reporting structure, and everyone had a different expectation for the role, all of which differed greatly from what was written in the job description. A large number of the interviewers were Director level or above and left unanswered questions feeling like one managerial misfire after another. Too many irrelevant interviews for such a niche role; I spent most of the time educating interviewers on the subject matter. STEPS: 1) Phone screen with Recruiter #1 2) Phone screen with new Recruiter #2 3) Phone interview with Hiring Manager #1 4) Flown to NorCal for three-hour f-2-f interviews, all director level, including the new Hiring Manager #2 5) F-2-F interviews with more directors in SoCal office 6) Rejection email from recruiter #1
