I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at BD in Nov 2015
Interview
Two rounds of phone interviews, one with the head of the group and one with an HR representative, followed by an in-person interview about 2 weeks later. The phone interviews were very straight forward, they just wanted to make sure you can answer some basic questions, talk about the work/school you have been doing. The in-person interview started at around 8AM and went to 2PM, consisted of meeting with three groups of two people who were on the team the position was located within. Most of the questions were about the work you do already but I spend a good bit of time asking them questions about their backgrounds and how they enjoyed being there. End of in-person interview was a tour of the facilities and a lunch with the manager of the group. Received an email a little over three weeks later saying I did not receive an offer.

Interview was somewhat last minute scheduled late on Sunday per Pacific Time. Went through multiple rounds with of people all asking the same questions creating a 3.5 hour long interview. Like most large companies that seem to want to act fast but then slow to the call.
