BILL Senior API Support/Solutions Engineer interview questions

Applied online and Recruiter called after 3 weeks and gave me the salary and position expectations. Total 5 rounds. 1. Hiring Manager 2. Hacker Rank Test 3. Behavioral test 4. Technical questions 5. Sr. Director The team was really good including the manager. They set the expectation straight. The process was really bad and didn’t adhere to what was promised for compensation. I was offered the position after 4th round and discussed about compensation. Recruiter agreed with the compensation I mentioned and was supposed to get back with final offer. Instead she called me for another round of interview with Senior Management which I happily agreed. Recruiter came back at the end and mentioned, I am overqualified for the position and cannot offer the salary range discussed earlier. A lower salary was being offered and ball is in my court to finalize it. I declined the offer and said it is not ethical. Disappointed with the way things turned around.
