I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BaXian (Küsnacht) in Feb 2025
Interview

Question 1
Was sind meine bisherigen Erfahrungen. Was sind meine Hobbies etc. Normales Personality Screening
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BaXian in Apr 2016
Interview
Was contacted via phone shortly after applying online and agreed on a interview for the following week. The interview lasted around 1 hr but was totally uncomfortable. I was asked a huge amount of situational/ personal/ technical questions without time to deepen any of my answers. I didn't click at all with the interviewer and the salary was ridiculous for Zurich's standards. Got a rejection email after one month...bad experience from any point of view.

Question 1
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
How would you promote our company?
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
What would your boss say about you?

Interview
They sent me initially an email to request an interview in their premisses. I confirmed the date that they offered and we had the interview. The interview included an open discussion about the company, where I got an insight on the structure of the company, their fields of expertise, and their main projects. Later on I explained what was my experience and previous projects I was working on. The interviewer was rather a junior person although he was for quite some years in the company. He made me feel comfortable and answered every question that I had. I had the impression that the interview was not structured and the interviewer was not well prepared. They told me that beside this interview, if I would made it through, I would have to talk with 4 more people in the company. There was no technical question since the guy interviewing me was not a technical guy itself. What was not mentioned in the add for the job was the fact that they demand up to 100% traveling time abroad for long periods up to a year and that they cannot guarantee a position in Zurich or even in Switzerland. This is fine in principle but I have no clue how much they are willing to pay since the discussion in respect to finances never came up. They mentioned that they will inform me after a week about the outcome and they were precise on that.
