I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bain & Company (New York, NY)
Interview
Bain uses outside recruiters/headhunters to find candidates for Administrative positions. The first round, you will meet with 2 people from HR and 1 current EA. In the later rounds, you will meet the Managing Partners that you would be directly supporting. The interview process overall is pleasantly relaxed and isn't just a straight Q&A session; the interviews are quite conversational. Everyone I met with was extremely warm and personable. What's unique about interviewing at Bain is that you can tell that everyone loves working there; I rarely saw that at the other companies I visited for interviews.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most difficult thing was explaining my work background because I changed career paths 2 years ago. But this is something that I would have to explain in any interview, so certainly was not unexpected. As long as a) this isn't the very first time you've ever interviewed for a job and b) you have at least 1 year of work experience in a similar role, none of the interview questions are going to strike you as difficult or at all unexpected. If you do find anything unexpected, it will be the fact that the interview process is so pleasant.
2 interviews, first with other EAs. You will do a test to see how quickly you can resolve scheduling and travel. Second interview is with an EA manager and HR
I interviewed at Bain & Company (Ciudad de Mexico)
Interview
La entrevista fue muy amena, duró alredor de 30 minutos, totalmente en inglés. En todo el tiempo la entrevistadora me hizo sentir cómodo, ella tomaba notas, la entrevista fue online.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Bain & Company (Boston, MA) in Jun 2022
Interview
I applied online, the process took 5 minutes. HR just confirmed the information. She was extremely rude and unprofessional, and didn't give me a chance even to describe my job experience. Felt awkward for such a company.
