I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Chadds Ford, PA) in Apr 2014
Interview
Bankers recruits by bringing a group of potential candidates into a room, markets the benefits of working for Bankers and then informing you your being considered for a position as an independent agent. Though they offer a Q&A period, the answers are generic and lacking substance. After the presentation they ask you to submit your personal info and any questions you may have on a form and include a resume if you have one. They only respond if they like your questions.

Question 1
Do you have a problem working as an independent contractor/agent
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Orlando, FL)
Interview
No real interview. Made statements about the great earning potential of the job and that you are your own boss. In hindsight, should have asked more questions about the job prior to accepting it. 1099 position, so no base pay and no benefits, but 100% commission. Great company to work for, but know what you are getting yourself into.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Jacksonville, FL)
Interview
Brief call I explained I was no longer interested. The individual interviewing was very courteous and polite. They did not try to convince me other wise. It was understood by both parties that I was no longer interested.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Wichita, KS) in Jun 2016
Interview
received a phone call about opportunities available at the local branch. Took the opportunity to meet with them, but was not able to meet with the intended individual. the Individual I did interview with did not look at my resume and was more concerned about his time than what I had to offer. They also wanted me to come back to sit in on a group interview slide show to go over the company.
