Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied online. I interviewed at Belkin in Feb 2023
Did five rounds of interviews, last one was visiting the headquarters and meeting with team members. Every round of interview went smooth and felt like a positive experience...until it was time for the company to make a decision. Was continually ghosted and ignored 2 weeks straight after my final interview. Recruiter would not answer emails, phone calls, or text. Honestly felt like amateur hour. Do not apply to Belkin if you want good communication throughout the interview process. Complete waste of time especially with how well the interviews went. The company should definitely invest in better recruiters because ignoring somebody for 2 weeks is not professional at all. Just look at the past reviews for interviews.
- Why are you looking to leave your company?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I interviewed at Belkin
30 minute recruiter screen. We spoke on my experiences with Belkin products as well as my professional experience. Reputable company with great products however the recruitment process is a lackluster. I haven’t received any communication as promised. As it’s been about two months, I would assume I didn’t receive a next step. Ironically, one of the things me and the recruiter spoke about is transparency which was not given to me as I gave to them.
- What is something you are looking for in a companies culture?

There were quite a few people in the room when I interviewed which I found to make it a bit difficult to follow and slightly intimidating. There were I believe 5 people. Seemed rather unnecessary to have that many people pulled form their day to interview one candidate.
- Your average interview questions. They also brought out some sample plastic injection molded parts to have me identify tooling characteristics of the parts. They also had me work through a brainstorming/design challenge type problem. The problem statement was an actual product issue that they previously had. In later stages, there is also a Creo CAD test.

The interview process was pretty easy. Just have to show them you have an outgoing personality and that you can sell. Also dress the part. Wear something fashionable to show that you belong.
- Are you comfortable with selling products?

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Belkin (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2022
Interview with recruiter, director, then manager — three in total over two and a half weeks. More conversational, no trick or tough questions just genuinely getting to know you and your experiences and sharing their own.
- Experience with go to market

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Belkin in Sep 2022
Lack of communication from the recruiter! The interviews went fine but they're terrible at communicating. They said they had an offer from me and kept going back and forth with no communication in between. I started in Sept with interviews and in December they finally said they had moved on from my candidacy. I wish the next candidate a better experience.
- Why do you want to work at Belkin?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I interviewed at Belkin
After aggressive pursuit and two interviews, I was ghosted by the company -- very disappointing experience. I hope that this changes going forward for them, as the company itself sounds great.
- If you had to design a new product, what would it be

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied online. I interviewed at Belkin
The interview went very smooth. Some basic questions and some job related technical questions. Had remote interview. Very straight forward and brief. Questions about workflow, working habits and software proficiency.
- How would you light a scene? Describe your process

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Belkin
Normal interview process but not that much insight on next steps or what they are looking for. It wasn’t difficult but wasn’t helpful either. They are looking for exact fits based on prior experience and difficult to get past recruiter regardless of experience
- Mostly about the role and if you have done them.

Anonymous Employee in Hong Kong
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Belkin (Hong Kong)
Firstly, phone interview / actual meeting with headhunt. After first screening, you will meet HR Manager or Director. If they select you to another round, you will be offered a chance to do presentation and meet the team and line manger or some other senior management.
- How your past experience match their current opening
