I applied online in two different ways, first, I applied for the indeed job app and it was ok and nice. I thought I did great, made sure I had a great attitude throughout the whole process.

There were 4 steps of hiring process.
1. Interview with senior QA Engineer.
2. Interview with HR manager
3. Coming to Malta for final interviews( company payed)
4. References

Everything was held in kind and positive atmosphere, people are highly professional.

Had two interviews, first with Fraud Manager. Was contacted after 7 days, to have a second interview this time with HR. Both interviewers were pleasant, both interviews were around 30 minutes long, and we went straight to the point talking about work and my skills and what I could bring to the table to their organisation. Both interviews went really well, however after second interview I had to chase them for an update. I was offered the position, however they stated that I was 'slightly' out of their budget. Their salary offer was ridiculously low considering what they pay their current employees (know from inside information) 7K less, and even lower than what I am currently making. I had to decline their offer. Betsson might be facing hard times financially.

They were very fast to approach after the application and give feedback after the interview but only because they were short staffed. I got an offer within a few days since my first (and last) interview that then disappeared into thin air after they realized I needed a work permit (no one bothered to check before). I waited for news for a month while they were trying to stall the process so that it would look like they had issues with the position. Very unprofessional!

Quite an informal interview process for such a large company. Down to earth, easy questions. Asked to talk about myself, showing around the building etc. Giving a tour and got to meet some of the team

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Betsson Group (Stockholm, Stockholm (Sweden)) in March 2017.

2 skype meetings. first on English and second one on your native language. Then you get an email if you get the job or not. If you get the job they will pay for your flight ticket and they offer a temporary apartment for 2 weeks so you have time to get an apartment on your own.

I was contacted by the employer around a week after applying online. The interview process was conducted remotely via Skype. The first interview was with a department manager and covered motivations, the role and candidate suitability. Following this, i was issued a personality test with 120 yes/no answers. The final stage was a more informal skype interview with the direct line manager.

The interview process was well structured and only took a 3 days (from first interview to contract offer).

Rotational shift pattern: 6 days on, 3 days off with shifts from 8:00-17:00 one week and 17:00-02:00 the next.

Interview

Overall, I am very pleased by the experience while interviewing with Betsson. They were really supportive and flexible during the whole process. They even offered me extra time to finish the technical exercise due to luck of time from my side. I met with some interesting people and we had a nice relaxed conversation.

During the technical interview, even though the role was front end focused they only asked Angular related questions. Nothing about HTML semantics, document structure, DOM manipulation, CSS architecture, assets management, CSS, JS processors, browsers, responsiveness, UX, testing, e.t.c. In my opinion focusing only in one very specific technology will not give to the interviewer the whole spectrum of the knowledge that a candidate holds.

The job post was pretty clear but during the interview the impression I got for the position was a bit different. The "Nice To Have" described in the job post turned out to be "Must Have" and vise versa.
