I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Beyond, Inc.
Interview
Had a phone interview with the HR rep and then a group phone interview with other employees. Flew out for in-person interviews with much of the team. They were fairly simple interviews and not really clear if they were aligned on what they were looking for.
I ultimately declined the offer for three main reasons:
- They bait and switched the offer so all of the sudden the salary, title, and benefits were below the expectations that had been communicated.
- They have a highly constrictive non-compete agreement that was really the deal-breaker for me and they didn't share that until the offer was made. Career-killing for anyone that wants the option of leaving the company and finding another job.
- The executive leadership is as nuts as all the reviews online say they are. No focus, no vision--this was made clear talking to multiple employees in the interviews and rang true in meeting with the President.
They made me an offer but I declined
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Beyond, Inc. (Salt Lake City, UT)
Interview
Great people, great environment. I don't have anything bad to say. Everyone was very friendly and welcome me. I was very excited to receive an offer. This was one of the best places I have ever interviewed at.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Beyond, Inc.
Interview
I had a phone interview and then an interview at their office. The onsite interview was with two of the department managers. At one point in the interview their supervisor even came in and asked a few questions. They had me demonstrate understanding of google's search engine optimization and had me do a structuring drill on the white board.
