I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at BigBear.ai (Washington, DC) in Nov 2024
Interview
They asked me to explain my past experiences and why I would be an asset to the team. They would ask me very technical questions as well as questions pertaining to the business side of the industry.
Application
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at BigBear.ai
Interview
Pretty straightforward, recruiter to tech screen to final round. The team I interviewed with was very kind and welcoming. Based on talking to the actual team, the job title didn't seem to match the role very well.
Applied for the full stack software engineer position online and the recruiter got back to me within 2 days asking me for a phone call. The phone call consisted of the recruiter and a senior software engineer which consisted of general HR questions and some general technical questions about object oriented design and microservices. However I was not told that the senior engineer was going to be present...was expecting a standard HR phone interview. The next day I get a email about an onsite interview asking me for avail times which I gave. However, I never got a response back from the recruiter...kinda weird but whatever.
