      Application

I interviewed at Block (Saint Louis, MO)

      Interview

3 part interview. The recruiter explained that training is in-person but after that fully remote work is allowed and even expected or encouraged. He also boasted of the internal advancenent opportunities. At the second interview it became clear that the real expectation was 4+ days in office. Anyone working in office less than that would not be considered for promotion.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They mainly wanted to know how much value I placed on in-person collaboration after baiting and switching me with the promise of remote work.
