The recruiting automated emails were out of control, telling me that my interview was cancelled when it wasn’t, then telling me that it was rescheduled when it wasn’t. The people seemed to know what was going on, but their automation was doing something totally unbidden, and the people never had an explanation as to why. it was super jarring. There’s a screening, then a meeting with the hiring manager, then a tech screen, then panels with the team focused on specific areas. I was in panels when they repurposed the role and closed it. But I still got three emails after that happened telling me things like my interview was rescheduled, my interview was cancelled and someone would be in touch, and then most recently, that they decided to go with a different candidate. Idk what’s going on over there, but this was a nightmare waste of time that ate up about three weeks of my search.
