Everyone was very friendly and made me feel at ease. It was a video call with a few people that lasted maybe 30 minutes. It seems they were looking for a match in culture/personality just a much as the technical stuff.

Question 1
Do you have experience localizing for other countries?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Block in Sep 2021
Interview
I applied for the position via Indeed and got a call from a recruiter sometime later. The call was more details about the job and basic questions. I moved on to the second interview which was meeting with some of the team. Talked about my portfolio in more detail and how my work and experience was related to the position.
Unfortunately, they didn't move forward with me. The reason was strange though. I told that it was due to not having specific experience (web content management and page building), and yet I have years of said experience... I'm not sure if I miscommunicated that to the team or something, but it was strange and disappointing.
Overall though, the interview process was positive. Everyone was really nice and helpful to me along the way. I might apply to other positions in the future.
