      Difficult interview

      Application

      Interview

After application for position as credit controller - latvian speaking, I got e-mail within one week for the phone interview in next week. So I had plenty of time to prepare myself for it and collect all information about company. Recruiter called me and definitely she was hurry and asked very fast few questions just to understand how interested and motivated I am for this job. After she said that she will send e-mail if I am invited for the 2nd interview. She called me just in 5 min already and invited for face to face interview in 3 days. On my second interview I came and met two experienced credit controllers who was my interviewers. They were polite and friendly. The interview took one hour. I got plenty of questions and role play. In a role play I had to "call" to customer who did not pay her bill and had to convience her to pay. I was struggling with this because I did not know clearly all facts about policy in company and what I can offer or discuss with this customer to convience her. Interviewers gave me another chance to "call" and tried to help me with some directions where I should focus. At last when it was done, I was asked do I have a questions to them.

The interview process comprises three distinct stages. Firstly, a preliminary interview with a recruiter will be conducted to assess your qualifications and suitability for the role. The second interview will be with the team lead and Senior Credit Controller of the team you are applying to join, and will focus primarily on a thorough evaluation of your skills. Finally, the third interview will be with the Regional Manager and another team lead, and will primarily be a cultural assessment. Both the second and third interviews will be an hour in duration, and will include challenging questions. However, with appropriate preparation, these questions can be effectively addressed to ensure a successful interview experience.
