      Customer Service Representative Interview

      Jun 8, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Bellevue, WA
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Booking.com (Bellevue, WA) in Jan 2014

      Interview

The interview process is a bit long. You first have to Skype with a recruiter. Then they will send you someplace to take a quick knowledge test. After that you finally get to meet with somebody at Booking.com where they will ask you a bunch of questions and see if your are fit for the job.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Questions for the first interview (Skype) was the hardest one. They will ask you questions about your previous work experience and how you handled tough situations. They will give you scenario and ask you how you would handle it or get out of it. It made me pretty nervous for a first interview. Second one was fairly easy. Just have to pass some computer tests. The final one is better than I thought it would be. Questions about why you want to work for them and if you have a problem with working nights and weekends.

      Interview

The selection process started with an assessment which is supposed to give a chance to show your practical skills in this particular role. The idea is great but the assessment itself was confusing, there was not enough time to answer all the questions properly and many questions were not even that relevant to the role. If you manage to pass, you move to the interview stage which is the interview with a recruiter. I had a pretty relaxed interview with a lovely recruiter who said I left a positive impression and she will present my candidature to the next stage (which is an interview with the manager). However, at the end of the same day I received a message that they will not be moving forward with my application with no further feedback. A couple of weeks later I saw the role being reposted again.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Mostly just asking about my career path and how my past experiences could be relevant to this role.
