I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (San Diego, CA) in Oct 2022
Interview
At the end of the interview, I was told that the company prides itself in communication with the hiring decision, whether there’s an offer or not, and that I could expect to hear from someone verbally within a week after the interview. When two weeks of radio silence went by, I followed up with an email to the recruiter. That email received no response back. I ended up not receiving any communication at all after the interview and only learned of the decision that I was not selected for the role from the candidate portal. I understand no one’s owed anything, but this felt like a cold and indecent way to treat a candidate. An email saying I wasn’t getting selected would have been fine, but I didn’t even get that.
