      Quality Engineer Interview

      Apr 3, 2023
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Charleston, SC
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Bosch (Charleston, SC) in Mar 2023

      Interview

Interview process was great. First MAU (3rd party) contacts you for an initial phone screening within 3 days of applying. Then the next week a virtual interview was set up on Tuesday a quick informal interview with the hiring manager. Then an onsite interview was scheduled for Thursday. That interview took 3 and a half hours first it was with another quality manager and a coworker on the team, then the second hour hr and hiring manager came in. talked about many things experience, personality questions how i would handle situations. after all that 2.5 hours in, it was 630 at night and the hiring manager said i know its late but would you still like to see the plant? i said sure he was very enthusiastic about working there and seemed very excited that i would be working there. 3.5 hours later the interview concluded and everyone said i should hear something back next week. I thought the interview went very well and that we liked each other and everything should be a great fit. completely thought i had the job and that there was no reason i wouldn't be picked. i was also very qualified and lived near by. next week came around and the mau hr girl reached back out and said she was waiting on feedback and she would get back as soon as possible. a week went by and i emailed a follow up asking for feedback. mau girl out of office and i didn't have any of the Bosch employees emails. the next week went by and i found the hiring manager on LinkedIn and sent him a very friendly message thanking him for the time asking for feedback. no response. 3 weeks go by and another mau hr person contacts me for another interview for a different position. i asked about the first one as well and he said in the portal mau requested the info 3 weeks prior but never got anything. i emailed the girl again no response but this time she updated the job posting and to inactive and my application was not selected. I don't know if they picked somebody else or just closed out the job. but never heard back in 3 weeks and nobody responded to any emails. Very disappointed in the end.
