BothOfUs interview questions

I waited for the interview call, it was strange that I did not get any invitation link or event for the interview. I thought maybe the employer will call me on the phone as he knew my phone number. After 15 minutes of waiting I sent a message to the employer asking for advice what to do, will there be any interview? He just replied around half an hour later that sorry he needed to leave the office earlier and they already finished the hiring procedure but they will inform me if there will be further chance to the position. I think this was not fair not to inform me earlier.
