The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bright Horizons Family Solutions
Interview
Very disorganized from the beginning. Applied and didn’t hear anything for 2+ weeks, then received an interview congratulating me on passing a phone screen I never had and moving me into the next round. I responded that I didn’t have a phone screen but would love one, and had four interviews with different team members scheduled with a note that this was a “single elimination” process and they might not all be needed- and that they were trying to fill the position quickly. All four interviews went well and I really enjoyed connecting with team members and learning more about the company and the role. Reached out after all interviews to ask about next steps and was connected with another hiring manager I’d never spoken with who told me that I’d hear after Thanksgiving (so ~a week later). Emailed 2 weeks after that to check in and received no response. Finally emailed after another 2 weeks and received a curt response that they’d proceeded with an internal candidate. My “under review” status never changed on the Workday website.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bright Horizons Family Solutions in Aug 2021
Interview
The recruiter reached out to me directly to see if I would be interested in applying for the Client Relations Director role. After confirming my interest, the recruiter schedule a 30 minute call with me where she provided a high level overview of the role. She was transparent and upfront about compensation which I greatly appreciated. The next two interviews I had were with the VP of Client Relations (direct supervisor), and the Group VP of Client Relations. I wasn't asked "standard" interview questions, but instead had a very organic conversation about the role and responsibilities, organization, and culture. I ended up receiving an offer a week later and had an opportunity to discuss benefits and compensation at that time.
