Screener Interview with Recruiter, Assessment, Hiring Manager Interview, Case Study, Sr Director/VP Level Interview; Lots of updates were given along the way, the process went pretty fast. I was frustrated by the end of the process, but I appreciated transparency.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bullhorn in Nov 2024
Interview
I had an initial screening with Talent & Acquisition (Richard Mariner), then completed an assessment, then had an interview with a senior leader - who asked me to complete case study/exercise, then a panel interview.
Throughout the process, Richard did a great job following up and keeping me updated.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bullhorn
Interview
I recently had the opportunity to interview at Bullhorn, and I have to say, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a hiring process. From start to finish, Richard, the Talent Acquisition Lead, was fantastic—his communication was excellent, and he kept me well-informed at every stage. I went through three rounds of interviews: first with the recruiter, then the hiring manager, and finally the director. Each conversation was engaging and insightful, and it was clear from speaking with different teams just how strong and welcoming the company culture is.
What truly stood out to me was the level of professionalism and transparency throughout the process. Although I wasn’t selected for the role, Bullhorn did something that very few companies do—they proactively provided interview feedback. I personally always reach out to hiring managers for feedback when I’m not selected, but it’s rare that I ever get a response. The fact that Bullhorn took the initiative to offer constructive feedback speaks volumes about their commitment to candidate experience. In today’s competitive job market, that kind of insight is invaluable, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to learn and improve. The fact that I’m writing this review reflects just how positive the entire process was. If you’re considering an opportunity with Bullhorn, know that you’ll be engaging with a team that values communication, culture, and candidate experience.

Question 1
What are your steps/plans when working with an agent that is not meeting performance standards.
I received an invitation to connect with the hiring recruiter very quickly. From there, we had an initial conversation and he was very up front with what the full process will look like, from interviews and case study to general time frame of the whole process. Although I wasn't quite the right fit for this particular role, I appreciated how up front everyone was with what they were looking for and how quickly the process would move. I also appreciated that I was offered a chance to connect further on feedback as to why I was not selected to continue in the process, which is not something I have been offered with other hiring companies.
