I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at CSG GOVERNMENT SOLUTIONS
Interview
Applied via LinkedIn EasyApply. Was contacted for interview a couple of weeks later. Worst interview I've ever had. Recruiter expected me to ask all the questions and divulged that the company hadn't fully thought through the position. Written and verbal communication was unprofessional and in some instances broke Illinois laws.

What questions do you have for me? (Before I was asked anything about the position)
I interviewed at CSG GOVERNMENT SOLUTIONS (Minneapolis, MN)
Interview
Initial call with HR person who refused to disclose any salary range but just said it was “competitive” and that all the consultants make “good money.” Second round with a consultant, who was friendly but seemed focused on my willingness to travel. I think I didn’t sound enthusiastic about the travel aspect and got weeded out that way, as my experience was as close of a match as you can get. Did not get any feedback with rejection.

Asked specific questions around my technical experience and also hit hard on ability to travel.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at CSG GOVERNMENT SOLUTIONS (Bergen op Zoom) in Feb 2025
Interview
I recently underwent a grueling five-week interview process with Csg, involving five separate rounds. Despite the extensive time and effort invested, the experience was marred by unprofessionalism and a lack of transparency.
Lack of Transparency:
Throughout the process, I repeatedly inquired about the salary range for the position. The company evaded my questions, even during a call dedicated to discussing benefits. In the final interview with the VP , I was pressed to disclose my salary expectations without any indication of their compensation range. This evasiveness is concerning, especially considering the growing emphasis on pay transparency in many states.
Unprofessional Conduct:
After the final interview, I was led to believe that an offer was forthcoming. However, I was later informed that they would not be extending an offer. My request for feedback or a reason for this decision was met with silence. This lack of communication is not only unprofessional but also indicative of a disregard for candidates time and effort. Such behavior reflects poorly on the company’s recruitment process and overall respect for potential employees.
Recommendation:
Based on this experience, I would caution prospective candidates to be wary of their interview process. The combination of non-transparency regarding compensation and unprofessional handling of candidate communications suggests systemic issues within their hiring practices. Approach opportunities with this company with caution and ensure that you have clear expectations before investing significant time and energy.
